Sacred furnishings not only complement the words, music and actions of liturgy, they purposely lead us to closer union with God. Each element within the worship space is to play a dynamic role of enriching devotion, providing insight and encouraging spiritual strength.

Wood, stone, metal and glass are molded and sculpted by artistic grace into sacred furnishings and art. In stillness they move us. In silence they speak gently to our hearts. The humility and awe they inspire fosters our own re-molding and re-sculpture.

As a part of the construction of the school’s recently completed Commons building, we wanted to include a life size bronze statue of St. Augustine. Our project architect referred us to Mark Heying at Anthem Sacred Furnishings. From a photograph of a statue similar to what we were looking for, Mark was able to identify the artist and connect with the studio in Italy to create our bronze of St. Augustine the Teacher. ASF did outstanding work throughout the entire process from locating the studio to final delivery and installation. I would not hesitate using ASF again or recommending its services to anyone with statuary needs.
